National Unity Day Celebrations at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Suryapet

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Suryapet, celebrated National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The celebration commenced with Principal Shri Srinivas Anand Sir offering floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, honoring his invaluable contribution to the unity and integrity of the nation. This was followed by the Ekta Diwas Pledge, where students and staff collectively reaffirmed their dedication to preserving national unity and harmony.

In his address, Principal Sir emphasized the importance of unity in building a strong and progressive nation. He highlighted Sardar Patel’s remarkable efforts in uniting the princely states and drew inspiration from the holy scripture Shikshapatri, reflecting on its teachings about harmony and collective strength.
