When the Gstatus Trip rolled out from Gurukul, we weren’t just heading out — we were heading into a day packed with sunshine, water thrills, and unfiltered joy. Our destination was the fabulous Visava Resort & Amusement Park — a top weekend getaway near Mumbai known for its water park, amusement fun, cozy spots to relax, and nature all around.

Morning: Arrival & Water Park Excitement
Bags dropped, sunglasses on, and spirits high — we entered the water world! The resort’s water park greeted us with thrilling water slides, massive pools, rain dance zones, and even an artificial wave pool that turned cool splashes into waves of laughter. From students racing down slides to laughter echoing near fountains, it felt like fun had its own soundtrack that day.
Whether you were there for the rush of slides or the joy of relaxing in the pool under the sun, the water park had something for everyone. Teachers and students alike competed for laughs, shared snacks by the picnic areas, and snapped probably thousands of photos.

Lush Surroundings & Resort Vibes
Beyond the water excitement, Visava sits tucked beside greenery and scenic landscapes along the Mumbai-Goa Highway, making it feel like a mini paradise just a drive away from city life. The natural setting around us added a calm backdrop to our energetic day.

By midday, everyone gathered at the resort’s restaurant — a place serving delicious meals that made even the thirstiest adventurers smile. Veg and non-veg choices meant no one went hungry, and it was a perfect chance to refuel and share favorite moments from the morning.

After lunch came more water fun, music at the rain dance zone, and games galore. Some students even explored the resort’s lush lawns and photo spots, capturing goofy group pics and quiet nature moments.
