200 Years of Shikshapatri – A Sacred Celebration of Values and Dharma

Marking the glorious 200th Anniversary of Shikshapatri Jayanti, the students and devotees came together in a deeply spiritual atmosphere to honour the eternal commandments given by Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan for righteous living.

The celebration was centred around the divine murti of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, beautifully adorned, radiating grace and compassion. With utmost devotion, students performed Shikshapatri Poojan, accompanied by the melodious chanting of Janmangal Namavali, filling the surroundings with sanctity, peace, and spiritual energy.

Saints guided the students, explaining the timeless relevance of the Shikshapatri—its teachings on moral discipline, social harmony, self-control, devotion, and compassion. The presence of saints, the reverent rituals, and the sincere participation of students transformed the occasion into a living classroom of Sanskars and Dharma.

This historic bicentenary celebration was not merely a ritual, but a renewal of commitment—to live by the values of the Shikshapatri and to carry its message forward to future generations. The event beautifully reflected how spiritual wisdom, when nurtured from childhood, shapes individuals of character, faith, and service.
