The National Level Vemana Poetry Competition was conducted with great enthusiasm as part of the Vemana Kavi Week Celebrations ๐โจ. The Telugu Language Faculty of the school organized a wonderful poetry recitation competition to encourage students to explore and express the richness of Telugu literature ๐๐ธ.
The winners of the competition were honored for their outstanding performances ๐:
๐ฅ First Prize: Hrishikesh Lakkoju (7th Grade)
๐ฅ Second Prize: Lohith Sai (7th Grade)
๐ฅ Third Prize: Bharadwaj (6th Grade)
The prizes were distributed by Day School In-charge Harivallabh Swamiji and the respected School Principal, Mr. Kalyan Kumar ๐๐. Along with the prizes, certificates and books were also presented to the best participants, encouraging them to continue their journey of learning and excellence ๐๐.
On this occasion, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the Anantapur Vemana Foundation, noting with pride that Sri Swami Narayan Gurukul (Day School) was selected among 100 schools across the Telugu states ๐๐ฎ๐ณ.
He beautifully highlighted the greatness of Vemana, the revered social reformer and poet ๐๏ธ, whose simple yet powerful verses continue to guide society even after four centuries. He emphasized that learning Vemanaโs poems helps students develop discipline, wisdom, and a meaningful way of life ๐ฟโจ.
More than 40 students actively participated in the competition, making it a vibrant and successful literary event ๐ค๐ซ. The Telugu faculty was also specially appreciated for their dedicated efforts in organizing the program ๐๐.
