Janmashtami Celebration at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore 🦚🙏

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore, joyfully celebrated Janmashtami with the Hostel students in a vibrant, devotional, and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The celebration began with a sacred gathering at the temple, followed by school prayer and Aarthi, seeking the divine blessings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. The students were then enlightened about the importance and spiritual significance of Janmashtami.

The celebration came alive through beautiful cultural performances, including devotional Kirtans and dances. The students also presented inspiring dramas depicting the divine stories of Shri Krishna and Kansa and the heart-touching bond of Krishna and Sudama, conveying meaningful values of devotion, friendship, righteousness, and surrender to God.

The little Gurukulites added charm to the celebration through a delightful Fancy Dress Show, beautifully portraying divine characters and spreading the joyful spirit of Janmashtami.

The programme was further blessed by the inspiring words and divine blessings of Pujya Tirth Swaroop Swamiji, whose guidance encouraged the students to follow the path of devotion, values, and righteousness.

The celebrations concluded with the energetic and joyful Matki Breaking, filling the campus with excitement, devotion, and the festive spirit of Shri Krishna.
