Spiritual And Cultural Celebration Of Janmashtami At Day School

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Mysore, celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with great joy and devotion at the temple on 4th September 2026.

The celebration beautifully brought together devotion, learning, music, and the innocent joy of our young Gurukulites in honour of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. The students participated in a special session about Bhagwan Shri Krishna, His divine life, and His inspiring teachings.

Adding charm to the celebration, the little students participated in a delightful Fancy Dress Show, dressing up as Shri Krishna and other divine characters, followed by a beautiful devotional dance.

The celebration reached a joyful highlight with Matki Fod, as the students enthusiastically participated in the traditional celebration, filling the temple with excitement, devotion, and festive spirit. The students also came together for Raas, adding to the joy and spiritual atmosphere.
