Annkut, celebrated at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul School, Hyderabad, is a grand and deeply spiritual event marking the spirit of gratitude and devotion towards Bhagwan Swaminarayan. In this celebration, the Gurukul staff, students, and Swamijis come together to offer an array of delicacies as part of a beautifully arranged ‘Annakut’ (mountain of food) before the deity. Each item in the Annakut is lovingly prepared and arranged with devotion, symbolizing the abundant blessings received from the Lord.
The celebration begins with an Aarti and prayer ceremony, invoking divine blessings and expressing reverence.
Students also participate in various devotional activities, such as singing bhajans, and chanting Dhun, fostering a sense of unity and devotion. The event is a joyous occasion, filled with devotion and bonding, as everyone partakes in the prasad with a thankful heart.
