🙏 Jay Swaminarayan 🙏
At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Hyderabad, Diwali was celebrated with devotion and grandeur, creating a vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere for students and devotees. The event aimed to deepen values of light, unity, and gratitude, bringing traditional Indian values to life for the students.
The campus was illuminated with the light of over 5,000 carefully arranged diyas, casting a beautiful glow that represented the triumph of light over darkness and hope over despair. Beyond enhancing the Gurukul’s ambiance, this diya arrangement served as a powerful reminder for students to cultivate inner light and spiritual mindfulness.
A special highlight of this year’s celebration was a magnificent display commemorating 200 years of the sacred Shikshapatri (1825–2025) — the divine scripture written by Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan. The presentation beautifully showcased the evolution of the Shikshapatri design and its timeless teachings that continue to guide devotees towards a life of discipline, devotion, and dharma.
Adding to the celebration were bhajans, spiritual discourses, and engaging sessions that provided students with a deeper understanding of Diwali’s spiritual meaning. They were encouraged to view the festival as a time for both joyous celebration and meaningful reflection. As the evening progressed, students and devotees united in heartfelt prayers, creating a strong sense of community and shared devotion.
The Diwali celebration at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Hyderabad beautifully combined tradition, spiritual enrichment, and community spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
