Krishna Janmashtami Celebration at Gurukul Hyderabad Hostel

The auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School with immense devotion, joy, and enthusiasm.

The celebration began with soulful Kirtan Bhakti, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere and bringing everyone together in devotion to Bhagwan Shri Krishna. This was followed by a vibrant Raas, filling the celebration with divine energy and joy.

The Pujya Saints blessed the gathering with an inspiring Katha, sharing the divine life, teachings, and leelas of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. Our talented students then beautifully presented devotional dances and Krishna Leelas, bringing the enchanting stories of Shri Krishna to life on stage.

The most divine moment arrived at midnight, marking the sacred birth of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. The celebration reached its spiritual peak with a heartfelt Aarti, followed by a special cake-cutting ceremony dedicated to Bhagwan Shri Krishna.

The festivities continued with the joyful tradition of Matki Pot Breaking, where students enthusiastically participated in breaking the decorated matki, symbolising the playful and beloved childhood leelas of Shri Krishna.

The celebration concluded with a spirited and joyful Raas, leaving everyone with hearts filled with devotion, happiness, and the divine memories of Krishna Janmashtami.
