National Quiz Rankers Gurukulites, by EPIC Channel

It gives us an immense pleasure to share with all our esteemed Gurukul family members that Master A. Sudhindra of Grade X and Master A. Jayathirtha of Grade VII participated in National level Inter school IQ challenge on 17th Sep. at Mumbai organized by EPIC Channel. The Quizmaster was famous singer, actor & Indian Idol winner Mr. Meiyang Chang.

In this quiz, there were three teams. One team was from O.P.S. Vidya Mandir, Karnal Haryana. Other team was from Krishna Public school, Raipur. Gurukul Hyderabad ranked 2nd in the national level quiz competition.

There were 4 rounds. The Gurukulite duo performed incredibly good till the 3rd round. In the 3rd round, surprisingly O.P.S. Vidya Mandir got eliminated. In the 4th round the duo faced three questions and answered well and stood 2nd in the competition.

After returning to Hyderabad, the boys shared their experience like this :

“It was very exciting for me and my brother. First, we felt very nervous but we did well. India’s financial capital is very different from Hyderabad in terms of living standards, infrastructure, transportation etc. Its highly populated. Pollution is very high as compared to Hyderabad. Due to these stress factors, we thought that we may not be able to perform. Then, on the day of event while going towards studio we prayed to Lord Ghanshyam Maharaj & saints for blessings. It helped me and my brother to be confident during the entire show. The moral standards of Sadvidya and Brahmavidya learnt at Gurukul and my teachers’ guidance helped us to remain mentally strong & calm during our stay in Mumbai.”

The parents heartily forwarded a word of thanks to Gurukul saints, Management and teachers for extending warm support to their children and truly transforming their lives which helped them in odd situations of their life.
