**Parents Visit on Ganesh Chaturthi**

Ganesh Chaturthi, a vibrant and joyous festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha, holds deep cultural and spiritual significance. As parents visit their children or relatives to celebrate this special event, the atmosphere becomes one of warmth, togetherness, and devotion.

As families gather, hostels are beautifully decorated with colorful flowers, lights, and intricate rangoli designs. A special idol of Lord Ganesha, usually handcrafted and decorated with care, becomes the focal point of the celebration. The day is filled with the sound of traditional prayers, chants, and the beating of drums as parents join their children in the aarti (ritual worship), offering flowers, sweets, and fruits to Lord Ganesha.

Parents often bring with them gifts or prasad (sacred food), like modaks (sweet dumplings) which are said to be Ganesha’s favorite. Their visit adds a sense of nostalgia and wisdom to the celebration, as they share stories about how Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in their childhood or pass on family traditions.

The festival also becomes a time for reconnecting, with parents enjoying the presence of their children, offering blessings, and partaking in the communal joy of family, food, and faith.
