Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Conducts Landmark Mega CPR Training Drive for 5,000+ Participants on World Heart Day

HYDERABAD – Delivering the powerful message that “A right response in a single moment can protect a precious life,” Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Hyderabad pioneered a grand community health initiative, “Spandanam-2026,” on the occasion of World Heart Day. The mega event provided hands-on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training to over 5,000 students, teachers, staff, and parents on the Gurukul campus.

Held under the divine blessings of Param Pujya Shukhvallabhdasji Swami and Param Pujya Harivallabhdasji Swami, the drive transformed the campus into a massive center for life-saving education, demonstrating that true learning extends far beyond textbooks.

From Classroom to Life-Saving: Empowering Citizens in Emergency Response The core mission of Spandanam-2026 was to equip every participant with the confidence and competence to handle sudden cardiac emergencies. Medical experts demonstrated practical CPR techniques, emphasizing how immediate action during critical moments can sustain hope until emergency medical care arrives.

The initiative was organized in clinical partnership and technical collaboration with STAR Hospitals, Telangana State Cardiology society of India,Csi- Telangana branch, Janatha Hrudayalaya Foundation, and leading healthcare institutions.
