Aksharabhyasa Celebration Showcases Cultural Splendor | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On 24th June 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, witnessed a spiritually enriching and culturally vibrant event – Aksharabhyasa, a traditional ceremony that marks the auspicious beginning of a child’s learning journey. The event brought together students, parents, and educators in a joyful atmosphere filled with devotion, blessings, and inspiring messages.

The ceremony commenced with Shri Ganapati Pujan, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for a successful start to the academic path. Following this was the soulful Arati, performed by Pujya Swamiji, who captivated the audience with their innocent yet enthusiastic participation. Dressed in traditional attire, the young students performed the rituals with grace, reflecting the strong cultural ethos of Gurukul Mysore.

A special highlight of the event was the divine presence and blessings of Pujya Harivandan Dasji Swamiji and Pujya Sridharcharan Dasji Swamiji. Their words of wisdom and spiritual encouragement added immense value to the occasion. The swamijis emphasized the importance of blending spiritual growth with academic learning, urging students to remain rooted in their traditions while pursuing modern education.
