Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore, commenced the Bal Sanskar Shibir on April 7, 2025, with a day filled with learning, values, and joyful activities for the students.
The day’s events began with a grand Inauguration Ceremony at 9:30 AM, setting a spiritual and disciplined tone for the shibir. Following this, students attended an enlightening session on ‘How to Use Media Effectively?”conducted by Pujya Tirth Swaroop Das Swamiji, which provided valuable insights into the responsible and constructive use of digital media in everyday life.
The next session focused on an essential life skill—Public Speaking. This was led by Sathish Sir and his team, empowering students with confidence and techniques to express themselves effectively in public forums.
A short Lunch Break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM was followed by exciting outdoor activities. The boys actively participated in Cricket and Football from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM, encouraging teamwork and physical fitness.
After a brief Short Break, students assembled for the Shloka Recitation session at 2:00 PM, which reinforced cultural values and the importance of Sanskrit verses in daily life. This peaceful and devotional segment helped bring balance to the high-energy day.
A delightful Watermelon Fest from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM offered students a refreshing treat, promoting healthy eating in a fun-filled atmosphere.
The day concluded with Departure at 3:30 PM, marking the end of a productive and enjoyable Day 1 of the Bal Sanskar Shibir.
