Bal Sanskar Shibir 2025 – Day – 2

Published On: April 8, 2025

The second day of the Bal Sanskar Shibir was filled with a harmonious blend of spiritual wisdom, cultural education, fun activities, and heartfelt emotions. The schedule was carefully designed to ensure holistic development – emotionally, spiritually, creatively, and socially.
The day began with an enlightening session led by Pujya Tirth Swaroop Das Swamiji, focusing on the sacred Indian values of honoring and respecting one’s parents. Swamiji beautifully conveyed the meaning of the shloka ‘Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava” and emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude to our parents.

Swamiji’s inspiring words, filled with stories and real-life examples, created an emotional yet uplifting start to the day. Children were encouraged to reflect on their relationships with their parents and express their love openly and respectfully.

A brief pause allowed the participants to reenergize before heading into their creative segment.

This segment was all about creativity and imagination. Students engaged in hands-on art and craft activities, including drawing, coloring, paper folding, and creative painting. The theme revolved around family values, love for parents, and Indian traditions. Many children created beautiful greeting cards and drawings dedicated to their mothers and fathers. The atmosphere was filled with colors, joy, and artistic expression.

A fun and energetic session was organized outdoors with Desi Games, reminding students of the joys of traditional Indian childhood games. Games encouraged physical activity, teamwork, and laughter. The excitement and sportsmanship displayed by the participants added a lively flavor to the event.

This was one of the most emotional and touching parts of the day. The session was filled with heartfelt expressions of love, gratitude, and reverence.

This activity was designed to instill humility, appreciation, and family bonding – foundational values of Indian culture.

As a final treat, children were served fresh mango juice – a delightful and refreshing end to a beautiful journey.

With hearts full of joy and minds enriched with sanskar (values), the children departed, carrying with them unforgettable memories and life lessons.
