On 01st July 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Near Mysore organized a heartfelt National Doctors’ Day celebration, aimed at fostering respect and awareness among students about the invaluable and selfless service of doctors. The event beautifully combined spirituality, social responsibility, and educational insight.
The program commenced with divine blessings from Pujya TirthSwaroop Dasji Swamiji and Pujya Harivandan Dasji Swamiji, who emphasized the importance of gratitude and service in life. Their words inspired students to not only revere doctors but to cultivate selfless values in their own journeys.
Mr. Ramesh, from the English Department, addressed the gathering and delivered an insightful talk on the importance of doctors. He spoke passionately about their tireless commitment, sacrifice, and the crucial role they play in society — especially during health crises. His words helped students appreciate the emotional and professional dedication doctors demonstrate daily.
Though no external volunteers participated, the event saw active involvement from students of Grades 4 to 9, guided by school staff. Their collective effort ensured that every element of the event unfolded smoothly and meaningfully.
Through this celebration, Gurukul Mysore reaffirmed its dedication to holistic education — blending moral values, intellectual development, and social consciousness — and offered students a chance to reflect on the noble path of serving others.
