Chaturmas Niyam Ceremony | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Mysore, the Chaturmas Niyam Ceremony was conducted with great devotion, inspiring students to begin the sacred four-month period of Chaturmas with renewed spiritual commitment. The ceremony emphasized the importance of self-discipline, devotion, and character building, encouraging every Gurukulite to strengthen their spiritual journey through sincere practice.

During the assembly, all hostel students and senior Gurukulites were guided to take any three personal niyams (spiritual vows) to observe throughout the entire Chaturmas period. These niyams included practices such as daily prayer, scriptural reading, avoiding unnecessary distractions, maintaining discipline, performing seva, and strengthening devotion. Each student pledged to follow their chosen niyams with sincerity and determination for the next four months.

The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that true transformation begins with consistent discipline and spiritual dedication.
