Constitution Day Celebrations - Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

On 26th November 2024, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore, celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of Principal Shri Harshajoshi Sir, Bharat Sir, and Sathish Sir. The program highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution in shaping the nation and instilling values of democracy, equality, and justice among students.

The highlight of the event was a detailed and thought-provoking speech by Suraj Kumar Singh Sir, delivered on behalf of the Social Studies Department. In his address, he elaborated on the significance of Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26th November 1949. He explained the fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution and emphasized the role of students in upholding these principles to build a stronger nation.

The program concluded with a pledge to abide by the Constitution and contribute to the country’s progress. The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the values that unite us as a democratic nation.
