Dengue Awareness Program

On 06-08-2024, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysore, hosted a Dengue Awareness Programme. Esteemed guests, including Mr. S. D. Bennur, District Medical Officer; Ms. Jyoti, Head Nurse at Belagola Government Hospital; and Ms. Jayanti, Asha Worker, provided valuable insights on dengue and malaria prevention. The event, attended by Principal Shriharsha Joshi, Academic Coordinator Satish N, all staff, and students from grades 7 to 9, emphasized hygiene and preventive measures, such as eliminating stagnant water and using mosquito repellents. The guests highlighted the importance of early detection and community involvement in combating these diseases. The interactive session allowed students to engage and learn practical steps to protect themselves and their families. The program successfully raised awareness and encouraged proactive health practices within the school community.
