Gurukulites Shine at National Karate Championship & Skating Competition

On 17th August 2025, students from Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysore proudly participated in the National Karate Championship and the Independence Day Skating Competition held at Mysuru. Competing against students from various reputed schools and academies, our young athletes displayed outstanding skill, discipline, and sportsmanship, making the Gurukul fraternity proud.

The Karate Championship, conducted on 17th August 2025, witnessed remarkable performances by our students:

* Chirag Padmaj P secured 3rd Place in Kata showcasing precision and strength.
* Chirag K H (AF0579) also bagged 3rd Place in Kata, reflecting his consistent training and determination.
* Mihal Gowda S excelled by winning 3rd Place in Kata (10 years category) and another 3rd Place in Kumite (10 years category), making him a double medalist at the event.

In parallel, the Independence Day Skating Championship, organized by Decathlon Mysuru on 17th August 2025, provided another platform for our students to excel. Param Nandana D.R (AG1369) delivered an inspiring performance, securing 2nd Place, and earning applause for his agility and speed on the skating track.

The highlight of the championship was the way our students demonstrated not only competitive spirit but also the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, which are deeply ingrained at Gurukul. Their achievements are a testament to the school’s emphasis on holistic development, where academics are balanced with physical education and extracurricular pursuits.
