International Yoga Day 2026 Celebrated with Grandeur at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore
Mysore, June 21, 2026: Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore, celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, inspiring students to embrace the values of health, discipline, and holistic well-being through the timeless practice of yoga.
The celebration was graced by the divine presence and blessings of Param Pujya Tirth Swaroop Das Swamiji, whose motivating words encouraged students to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives for physical fitness, mental peace, and spiritual growth.
A spectacular highlight of the event was the grand Surya Formation, where 965 Gurukulites came together in perfect coordination to create the symbolic image of the Sun. The breathtaking formation showcased the students’ discipline, unity, and teamwork, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
The event was led by Principal Shri Harsha Joshi Sir, along with Academic Coordinator Shri Sathish Sir, and was actively supported by all teaching and non-teaching staff members. Students enthusiastically participated in a series of yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation sessions, reaffirming their commitment to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
