Joyful Celebration Of Krishna Janmashtami With Cultural Festivities

On 14th August 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysore came alive with devotion, music, and joy as the school community celebrated the much-awaited Krishna Janmashtami Festival. The cultural event brought together students, teachers, staff, and special guests in a vibrant display of tradition, faith, and creativity.

The celebration featured a variety of engaging performances that captured the spirit of the festival. Students from Grades I to IX enthusiastically participated in events such as Matki Phod (Dahi Handi), soulful Dhoon, devotional Kirtan, and inspiring speeches highlighting the values taught by Lord Krishna. Each performance reflected the students’ dedication and creativity, leaving the audience deeply immersed in the festive spirit.

The highlight of the day was a special presentation on the Teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna, which resonated strongly with both students and teachers. The performance conveyed timeless lessons from the Bhagavad Gita, reminding everyone of the importance of righteousness, devotion, and selfless action in everyday life.

The event was graced by respected guests including Asst. Director Mr. Jay, Administrator Mr. Bharat, and Academic Coordinator Mr. Satish, along with all teaching and non-teaching staff. Their presence added inspiration and encouragement, as they addressed the gathering with speeches that emphasized the significance of cultural heritage, unity, and moral education in shaping well-rounded individuals.
