On 18th September 2024, students of Grades 3 and 4 from Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School visited the National Museum of Mankind and R.K. Narayan’s house.
At the National Museum of Mankind, students explored exhibits on human evolution, tribal cultures, and traditional Indian art. The life-size replicas and artifacts helped them appreciate India’s cultural diversity. The guided tour was interactive, with students asking insightful questions.
The visit to R.K. Narayan’s house provided a glimpse into the life of the celebrated author of Malgudi Days. The students learned about his simple lifestyle and how it influenced his writing, gaining inspiration from his literary legacy.
This educational visit offered valuable lessons in history and literature, leaving the students with a deeper understanding of India’s cultural and literary heritage.
