Nurturing Futures Together – Parents Teachers Meeting

On 23rd August 2025, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysuru, organized a Parents–Teachers Meeting (PTM) to strengthen the bond between school and parents. The event provided a meaningful platform for parents to interact with teachers and discuss the academic performance, behavior, and overall progress of their wards.

Parents visited the school enthusiastically and engaged in constructive discussions with the faculty. Teachers provided detailed feedback on the students’ strengths and areas where improvement is required. They also guided the parents with strategies to support their children at home, especially in maintaining discipline, study routines, and balanced use of time. Parents, in turn, shared their observations and suggestions, making the meeting an enriching two-way interaction.

Special arrangements were also made during the PTM. The Brahmavidya Corner was set up to spread awareness of the spiritual and value-based learning practices at Gurukul. Additionally, helpdesks for the Gurukul App and Swaadhyan App were arranged to assist parents in understanding and using digital platforms effectively for tracking their child’s academic progress and assignments. Parents appreciated these initiatives as they bridged communication between school and home more efficiently.

One of the highlights of the PTM was the Selfie Board Corner, where parents joyfully clicked selfies with their children, capturing the memorable day.

The PTM was a successful event that reinforced collaboration between parents and teachers in nurturing the all-round development of students.
