Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Mysore, organized a spiritually uplifting event titled Padhramani (Students Home Visit) with the objective of strengthening family bonds through satsang and devotional living. As part of this sacred initiative, 13 students’ homes were visited, where Thakurji was taken to each residence to conduct satsang with the students and their family members, creating a deeply devotional and peaceful environment at home.
The Padhramani program was led by Pujya Tirthswaroop Dasji Swamiji, Pujya Narhardasji Swamiji, and Pujya Archanvallabhdasji Swamiji, whose spiritual guidance and blessings greatly enriched the experience. The Swamijis were respectfully accompanied by Principal Shriharsha Joshi, Assistant Director Mr. Jay, and Brahmavidya Coordinator Mr. Suraj Kumar Singh, reflecting the institution’s collective commitment to integrating spiritual values with education.
Each home visit followed a traditional and meaningful spiritual sequence, beginning with Aarathi, followed by Prasad Arpan to Thakurji, and offering flowers to Bhagwan and the Swamijis. These rituals encouraged devotion, discipline, and a strong sense of divine presence within the household.
A significant highlight of the event was the guidance given to families in the form of three essential niyams for daily spiritual practice:
Chanting mala every morning
Offering food to God before eating
Eating at least one meal together as a family every day
To further support spiritual growth, families were gifted Big Shikshapatri, Bhagwan Jeevan Charitra, a 2026 calendar, Laddu Prasad, and a large Bhagwan Murthi, serving as lasting reminders of the values shared during the Padhramani visit.
The key message of the program emphasized family satsang and its benefits, highlighting how regular spiritual practices at home nurture values, harmony, and strong character in children. The Padhramani event had a profound and lasting impact on students, parents, and staff, reinforcing the relevance of spiritual values in everyday life and reaffirming Gurukul Mysore’s mission of holistic education rooted in culture, discipline, and devotion.
