Parent’s Smile Program – PA-2

A parents’ Smile Program was held on 09th November 2024 at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysore to discuss students’ academic progress, behavior, and overall development. The session provided an opportunity for parents and teachers to exchange feedback and collaborate on the best ways to support students’ growth.
During the meeting, teachers shared updates on students’ academic performance, highlighting improvements in core subjects like mathematics, science, and language arts. There was also a focus on the importance of extracurricular activities in fostering well-rounded development, with students actively engaging in sports, arts, and other school events. Parents appreciated the strong communication between the school and home, which has helped them stay informed about their children’s progress and school activities.
However, there were discussions on areas for improvement, particularly in time management and focus during lessons. Some students struggle to balance academic work with extracurricular commitments, which can affect their performance. Additionally, a few students have exhibited behavioral challenges in class, which disrupt the learning environment. Teachers and parents agreed on the need for continued support in these areas, including time management strategies and consistent reinforcement of positive behavior.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to working together for the continued development and success of the students.
