Petals Pre-School Students Embark On A Gurukul Learning Journey

The Gurukul campus was delighted to host 26 students and 5 staff members from The Petals Pre-School, SVP Nagar, Police Layout 2nd Stage, T. Narsipura Road, Mysore – 570028, for an enriching experiential learning visit.

The young learners were warmly welcomed and taken through a thoughtfully curated set of activities that reflected the ethos and culture of Gurukul.

Cultural Learning and Value Education
The visit began with an introduction to Pranam and its significance in fostering respect, humility, and gratitude. Students also learned about the Importance of Parents through an engaging and impactful puppet show presented by Ms. Shashi Kumari and Ms. Pooja. The children enjoyed the visual storytelling and connected deeply with the message.

Creative Expression
To encourage creativity, a drawing and colouring session was organised under the guidance of Mr. Avinash, where the children enthusiastically expressed their imagination through vibrant artwork.

Sports and Outdoor Activities
The visit also included a series of outdoor recreational activities such as Pick-Up-the-Cone and other age-appropriate games designed to build coordination, teamwork, and confidence. The students were energetic participants and displayed excellent enthusiasm throughout.

Aerobics and Movement Session
An exciting aerobics segment conducted by Mr. Naresh, Ms. Nisha, Mr. Rakshith, and Mr. Arjun added a lively and joyful dimension to the visit. The children enjoyed moving to rhythmic beats and exploring fitness through fun.
