On 28th September 2024, students from Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Belagola, Near Mysuru, embarked on a meaningful visit to Vatsalya Seva foundation an old age home at Mysuru, under the theme “Together We Give, Together We Grow.” Accompanied by their dedicated teachers, the students donated essential items, including toiletries, bedspreads, fruits, and biscuits, embodying the spirit of giving.

The presence of Gurukul teachers added guidance and support, enriching the students’ experience as they interacted with the center’s residents, and providing compassion and understanding. The teachers were deeply moved by the student’s willingness to connect and share with those in need, observing how the young learners expressed their thoughts and feelings during the visit.

Afterward, the students reflected on their experiences, expressing heartfelt emotions about the day. Many shared how the visit helped them appreciate the importance of kindness and service to others. This initiative fostered a sense of unity and social responsibility, reinforcing the values of empathy and collective growth that Gurukul strives to instill. It was a day that left an indelible mark on all present, a true testament to the impact of community support and shared compassion.
