🏆 Mastering The Board Gurukul Chess Stars Shine

Students of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School proudly participated in the Avishkar Chess Academy Rapid Chess Tournament 2026, organized under the guidance of the Raigad District Chess Association on 5th July 2026 in Karjat.

Our young chess players displayed excellent concentration, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship while competing against talented participants from various schools. Their outstanding performances brought pride to the Gurukul family.

Hashwith (Class 8) secured 4th Place in both the Under-12 and Under-13 categories, while Shivam Patel (Class 8) achieved Top-10 finishes in the Under-15 and Under-13 categories. Ishan Gupta (Class 6), Ahan Vedak (Class 6), Vidhit Chaudhari (Class 6), and Samarth Kulkarni (Class 9) also earned impressive Top-10 positions in their respective categories. The students were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their remarkable achievements.

The tournament was a valuable learning experience that strengthened their confidence, sharpened their analytical skills, and inspired them to continue striving for excellence.

Upon returning to Gurukul, all the participants received the divine blessings of Pujya Swamiji, who congratulated the students for their outstanding achievements and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence with dedication, discipline, and humility.
