A Joyous Janmashtami | Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School

At Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Navi Mumbai, the spirit of Janmashtami was brought alive with a vibrant pre-celebration filled with devotion and joy. As it is an only boys’ school, the students actively participated in every part of the program with great enthusiasm and dedication.

The premises were beautifully decorated with flowers, rangolis, and colorful lights, creating a divine atmosphere. The boys presented dance dramas and bhajans depicting the life and leelas of Lord Krishna, which filled the environment with devotion. Many students dressed up as Krishna and Gopas, adding charm and traditional touch to the celebration.

One of the most exciting highlights was the practice for Dahi Handi, where the boys formed human pyramids with teamwork and energy, symbolizing the playful nature of young Krishna. Their efforts reflected not just joy but also unity and brotherhood.

The pre-celebration reminded everyone of the values of faith, devotion, and togetherness, setting the perfect stage for the grand festival of Janmashtami.
