Rakshabandhan Celebration by Day School Students

The students of our day school joyfully celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan, a day that beautifully symbolizes the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters. The celebration began with a brief introduction about the significance of Rakshabandhan, where teachers explained its cultural and emotional importance.

Students enthusiastically participated in rakhi-making activities, creating vibrant and creative rakhis using colourful threads, beads, and decorative materials. Later, sisters tied rakhis on their brothers’ wrists, while brothers pledged to protect and care for them. The exchange of sweets and warm wishes filled the atmosphere with happiness and affection.

The event was not only a celebration of tradition but also a reminder of the values of love, respect, and unity. It brought smiles to every face and strengthened the bonds among students, making the day truly special.
