Children’s Day for Classes 6 to 9 was celebrated with great joy and inspiration at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Secunderabad, marking the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The celebration began with a special assembly filled with excitement and festive spirit.

On this wonderful occasion, Pujyapaad Harivallabh Dasji Swamiji and Principal Mr. Krishna Kishore Sir addressed the students with powerful and motivating messages. They encouraged children to follow values, discipline, curiosity, and purity — the qualities Nehruji believed in.

Adding to the charm of the celebration, teachers performed lively and heartwarming cultural programmes, including enthusiastic dance performances. Students were filled with joy as they watched their teachers perform with love and encouragement.

Throughout the day, the Gurukul Olympics continued simultaneously, making the celebration even grander. Students enjoyed both the festive programme and the energetic sports activities, creating a perfect blend of fun and learning.

The school also organised storytelling competitions and art & craft competitions, where students showcased creativity, imagination, and excellent presentation skills. To recognise their efforts, instant appreciation was given with the divine blessings of Pujyapaad Harivallabh Dasji Swamiji, motivating children to continue performing with confidence.

The celebration ended with bright smiles, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable memories, beautifully reflecting the essence of Children’s Day.
