Founder’s Day – 125th Birth Anniversary of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj Celebrated with Great Devotion at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Suryapet

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Suryapet, celebrated Founder’s Day – the 126th Birth Anniversary of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj, the revered founder of the Gurukul tradition, with profound devotion and spiritual fervour.

The Spiritual Orientation Programme was organized under the guidance of Respected Principal Shri Srinivas Anand Sir and Director Hardik Sir, inspiring students to imbibe the timeless values of devotion, discipline, humility, and selfless service as envisioned by Pujya Shastriji Maharaj.

As part of the celebration, 575 high school students enthusiastically participated in a series of spiritually enriching activities. Together, they completed:

✍️ 72,450 Mantralekhan writings (126 per student)
🙏 6,900 Dandavats (12 per student)
💌 Heartfelt gratitude letters dedicated to Pujya Shastriji Maharaj
🕉️ 2,48,400 Matra Jap Dhun chants

These collective offerings created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere across the campus, strengthening the students’ faith and deepening their commitment to the Gurukul values.

The spiritual session was delivered by Brahmavidya Coordinator Mr. M. Srinivas Sir, who enlightened the students about the divine life, vision, and extraordinary contributions of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj. He encouraged the students to cultivate noble character, unwavering devotion, disciplined living, and a spirit of selfless service in their daily lives.

The programme concluded with prayers, expressions of gratitude, and a renewed resolve among the students to follow the noble ideals of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj and preserve the rich spiritual heritage of the Gurukul tradition.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder that the teachings and vision of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj continue to inspire generations of students to lead lives rooted in spirituality, values, and service to society.
