An Inspiring Journey into Heritage, Culture & Devotion

As part of Sadvidya Week, and with the divine blessings of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, Pujya Brahmnishtha Saints, and under the guidance of our respected Principal Sir, Director Sir, and the Transformers Team, the students of Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Suryapet embarked on a meaningful spiritual tour to promote cultural awareness, moral values, and a spirit of service.

đź“Ť A Visit to the Historic Pillalamarri Temple

Students from Classes 1 to 3 had the unique opportunity to visit the 12th-century Lord Shiva temple at Pillalamarri, a magnificent monument built by the Kakatiya dynasty.

During the visit:

Students explored the temple’s ancient architecture.

They learned about its historical and spiritual significance.

Discussions were held on the importance of preserving India’s rich cultural heritage for future generations.

🕉️ The temple priest and visiting devotees appreciated Gurukul’s initiative in educating young students about India’s spiritual roots and historical legacy.

This spiritual tour not only deepened students’ connection with their cultural identity but also inspired them to become responsible citizens who value their heritage and traditions.
