Under the divine blessings and spiritual guidance of Pujya Shree Mantraswarupdasji Swamiji and Pujya Shree Krushnamurthydasji Swamiji, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Suryapet, celebrated Guru Purnima with profound devotion and spiritual fervour, offering heartfelt gratitude to the sacred Guru Parampara and honouring the revered spiritual masters who continue to illuminate countless lives.

The celebration was dedicated to the founder of Swaminarayan Gurukul, Pujya Shree Dharmjeevandasji Swamiji, (Shastriji Maharaj), along with the revered Gurukul Guru Parampara—Pujya Shree Devkrushnadasji Swamiji and Pujya Shree Devprasaddasji Swamiji—whose lives and teachings continue to inspire generations of students and devotees across the world.

The programme commenced with Respected Principal Mr. Srinivas Anand Sir and Director Hardik Sir offering floral garlands to the divine Murti of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the photographs of the revered Gurus, symbolising reverence, gratitude, and unwavering devotion to the Guru tradition.

Addressing the students, Mr. Pavan Sir, Faculty of the Telugu Department, narrated the inspiring story of Ekalavya and Dronacharya, emphasising the timeless values of unwavering faith, humility, dedication, discipline, and reverence towards one’s Guru.

The programme was meticulously coordinated by Mr. Srinivas Malikanti, Brahmavidya Coordinator, who explained the spiritual significance of Guru Purnima and inspired students to honour their Gurus through sincere learning, noble character, righteous conduct, and selfless service.

The celebration was further enriched by an inspiring video message from Pujya Shree Tirthswaroopdasji Swamiji, who beautifully conveyed that every success, achievement, and honour in life is possible only through the blessings and guidance of the Guru, and that all credit ultimately belongs to the Guru.

In his concluding address, Respected Principal Mr. Srinivas Anand Sir encouraged every student to express heartfelt gratitude by writing gratitude letters to their parents and teachers, acknowledging their unconditional love, sacrifices, and invaluable contribution in shaping their lives and future.

The programme concluded with prayers and expressions of gratitude, leaving every student inspired to uphold the ideals of the Guru, cherish the values of humility, service, and gratitude, and strive for excellence in education, character, and spirituality.
