Sadvidya Week @Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Suryapet
Under the divine guidance of Pujya Mantraswaroopdasji Swamiji, Pujya Krishnamurthydasji Swamiji, and the visionary leadership of Respected Principal Srinivas Anand Sir, Director Hardik Sir, and the dedicated Brahmavidya Team, Sadvidya Week was conducted with great enthusiasm at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Suryapet.
This year’s theme — “Are You Slave or Master of Media?” — focused on empowering students to understand the powerful influence of media and the importance of using it responsibly in their everyday lives.
The week commenced with an inaugural session featuring a thought-provoking speech on “Media as a Tool vs Trap”, setting the tone for a series of impactful activities. Creative contests like PPT Projects, Poster Making, and Drawing Competitions were announced to encourage students to express their understanding of the theme.
As part of the 200-Year Celebration of the Shikshapatri, a welfare initiative titled “Har Char Shikshapatri” was launched, inspiring students to spread the timeless teachings of the Shikshapatri within their families and communities.
Throughout the week, students actively engaged in debates, presentations, and an insightful workshop titled “Become a Media Master.” This session guided them in identifying “slave habits” such as excessive screen time and passive media consumption, and transforming them into “master habits” rooted in creativity, devotion, learning, and discipline.
The grand finale featured House-wise PPT presentations, followed by certificate distribution and prize announcements to recognize the efforts of enthusiastic participants. The week concluded with motivational blessings from Swamiji and encouraging words from Principal Sir, leaving a lasting impression on all.
Sadvidya Week was a powerful reminder of the Gurukul’s mission to instill not just academic excellence, but also the wisdom to live a balanced, value-driven life in today’s digital world.
