πŸŒ™ Lunar Eclipse – Divine Observance at Gurukul πŸŒ™

On the auspicious evening of the Lunar Eclipse (7th September 2025, Sunday, 7:30 PM – 9:15 PM), the students of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Tirupati observed this sacred celestial event with devotion and discipline. As guided by the Shikshapatri Slokas 86 & 87, prescribed by Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, they engaged in uplifting spiritual practices.

πŸ“– Shikshapatri Guidance:

Sloka 86 instructs devotees that during solar or lunar eclipses, one must set aside all other activities, purify oneself through a holy bath, and chant the divine name of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.

Sloka 87 further advises that once the eclipse concludes, devotees should take another bath with clothes on. Householders are encouraged to give charity as per their means, while ascetics should engage in the worship of God.

✨ Gurukul Observance:
In accordance with these divine instructions, our students devotedly engaged in:

Dhun Bhakti and Kirtans, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations.

Reading of the Shikshapatri, strengthening their understanding of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s teachings.

Ghanshyam Charitra viewing, inspiring them with the divine life and values of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

Through this observance, the young minds of Gurukul imbibed purity, discipline, and devotion while staying rooted in the timeless wisdom of the Shikshapatri.
