As part of the sacred observances marking the 224th Pragatya of the Swaminarayan Mahamantra, the hostellers of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School participated in a spiritually uplifting one-hour Swaminarayan Mahamantra Dhun. The serene atmosphere was filled with collective chanting, devotion, and deep concentration, creating a powerful spiritual environment within the Gurukul campus.
During the session, Pujya Swamiji enlightened the students on the importance, origin, and divine significance of the Swaminarayan Mahamantra—explaining when it was revealed and how chanting the Mahamantra purifies the mind, strengthens faith, and leads one towards a disciplined and value-based life. Swamiji also highlighted the relevance of the 224th Pragatya Mahotsav, inspiring students to understand and connect with the spiritual heritage of the Swaminarayan tradition.
Students sat in disciplined rows, chanting with devotion and attentiveness, reflecting the Gurukul’s emphasis on spiritual education along with academic excellence. This sacred Dhun not only nurtured inner peace and devotion among the students but also reinforced the Gurukul values of bhakti, discipline, and spiritual awareness.
The program left a lasting impression on the young minds, strengthening their connection with the Mahamantra and guiding them towards a balanced life rooted in spirituality and righteousness.
