Shree Krishna Janmashtami
We, GURUKULITES, celebrated JANMASHTAMI on 24/08/24 with its full elegance and beauty in the school premises.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and devotion as our school celebrated Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna, with great enthusiasm. The students and teachers came together to recreate the magical moment of Lord Krishna’s birth.

The celebration began with a beautiful decoration of the school premises with flowers, balloons, and colorful streamers. The students dressed up in their finest attire, with many of them dressing up as little Krishnas and Radhas.

The program started with a prayer and a song, followed by a skit depicting the story of Lord Krishna’s birth. The students performed with great energy and enthusiasm, bringing the story to life.

Next was the most awaited moment – the Dahi Handi ceremony. The students and teachers gathered around the Dahi Handi, a clay pot filled with curd and butter, suspended high above the ground. The students took turns trying to break the pot, just like Lord Krishna did in his childhood.

Finally, after many attempts, the pot was broken, and the curd and butter spilt out, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The students cheered and celebrated with great joy.

It was a wonderful celebration, and everyone left with a smile on their face and a sense of devotion in their hearts.’
