‘Math-o-Mania: Unlocking the Magic of Numbers!’ Math Week began on Monday, 2nd December 2024, with a warm introduction by Ms. Nisha Prakash, who emphasized the relevance and importance of mathematics in our daily lives. This was followed by a thought-provoking skit, ‘Importance of Math,’ performed by the talented students of Class 9, showcasing the indispensable role of mathematics in various fields and day-to-day activities.

Shape Dance by Class 1: Young learners creatively explored shapes through rhythmic movements, demonstrating their understanding of geometry in a playful manner.
Number Train by Class 5: Students built a vibrant ‘Number Train’ to represent number sequences, patterns, and relationships in a visually engaging performance.

Odd and Even Dance by Class 2: Students portrayed the concept of odd and even numbers with dynamic and colourful choreography.

BODMAS Skit by Class 5: This skit demonstrated the rules of operations in a mathematical expression with clarity and humour, making the audience grasp the concept effortlessly.
Math the Unifier by Class 6: A performance highlighting the unifying nature of mathematics across various disciplines and its presence in nature, technology, and art.
Daily Stage Representations
Each day, students also represented two renowned mathematicians, sharing their contributions and achievements, which inspired everyone to appreciate the depth of mathematical innovation.

Class 2: Number Sorting Relay – A team game enhancing logical thinking and number sorting skills.
Class 3: Currency of Different Countries – Exploring currencies and their denominations from around the world.
Class 4: Geometrical Artworks – Creative art pieces designed using geometrical shapes.
Class 5: Reverse Table Challenge – Testing fluency in reciting tables backwards up to 10.
Class 6: Riddle Wizard – Solving fun and challenging math riddles.
Class 7: Sudoku Challenge – A thrilling logic puzzle competition.
Class 8: Squares and Cubes – Memorizing squares and cubes of numbers up to 30.
Class 9: Math Marathon – A rigorous problem-solving race testing mathematical prowess.
