To acknowledge the dedication and selfless service of doctors in our society, Doctors’ Day was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, NTPC Lara, on 1st July 2025.

The program began in the morning assembly where Akshat, a student of class 6, presented the significance of the day, highlighting the noble contribution of doctors in saving lives and promoting the well-being of people. His speech brought attention to the role of doctors as real-life heroes who work tirelessly, especially during emergencies and challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic.

To extend heartfelt gratitude, a group of class 6 students, under the supervision of the respected Principal Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik and teachers, visited the NTPC Hospital. The students carried handmade greeting cards and floral bouquets, prepared with love and appreciation.

The young Gurukulites greeted the doctors warmly and presented them with the tokens of respect. The doctors were touched by this thoughtful gesture and appreciated the effort made by the school and students. The visit created an emotional and inspiring atmosphere, reinforcing the importance of recognizing the contributions of medical professionals.

This visit not only instilled a sense of gratitude and respect among the students but also provided them a real-life learning experience about empathy, appreciation, and community values.

The school remains committed to nurturing compassionate and responsible citizens who value every profession that contributes to the welfare of society.
