The program began with a solemn moment when the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri were respectfully garlanded by the Chief Guests of the day, Madam Uma Devi, Principal of Amar Shahid Balika Inter College, and Shri Ravi Singh. Their presence added grace and dignity to the occasion.
Following the floral tributes, the teachers of the school presented a melodious bhajan, which created a serene and spiritual environment, reminding everyone of the simplicity, truth, and values that Gandhiji and Shastriji stood for. The audience joined in the rhythm, filling the hall with a soulful vibration.
The chieft guest then addressed the gathering, highlighting the ideals of truth, non-violence, simplicity, and patriotism taught by these two legends. She urged the audience to imbibe these values in their daily lives and contribute positively to society and the nation.
