Exploring the World Around Us – SST Week 2025

🌍 Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, NTPC Lara, celebrated Social Science Week with great enthusiasm from 18th to 22nd August 2025. The week aimed to deepen students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, and economics while nurturing values of patriotism and social awareness.

Each day featured unique and engaging activities — from songs on India’s states and quizzes on Independence Day to live portrayals of great rulers like Ashoka and Prithviraj Chauhan, and creative presentations on topics like the Evolution of Earth and the Indian Cabinet. The highlight was a realistic role play on Gandhiji’s Dandi March, reviving the spirit of India’s freedom struggle.

The Mega Event on 22nd August brought together classes 1–9 with diverse competitions — speeches, collages, quizzes, fancy dress, and role plays — showcasing talent, teamwork, and creativity. The celebration successfully made Social Science come alive beyond textbooks, inspiring students to explore the world with curiosity, responsibility, and pride.
