Echoes of Unity – Gurukulites honour the legacy of Sardar Patel

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with great patriotic fervour and respect on 31st October 2025, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

The program began with a solemn moment as the Respected Principal, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, along with the students, paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by garlanding his portrait. This gesture reflected deep reverence for his invaluable contribution to the unity and integrity of the nation.

Following this, Ms. Harmeet Kaur delivered an insightful speech highlighting the significance of the day and the life history of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. She emphasized Patel’s pivotal role in unifying the princely states and his tireless efforts in strengthening the foundations of modern India.

The event concluded with the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas oath, where all students and staff solemnly pledged to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of patriotism and collective responsibility as everyone joined in the pledge with enthusiasm and sincerity.

The celebration served as a powerful reminder of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision of a united and strong India, inspiring every Gurukulite to contribute towards national harmony and brotherhood.
