On Friday, February 6th, the KG students stepped out of the classroom and into the vibrant fields of Gudu Village for a hands-on lesson in agriculture. Under the guidance of the Principal and their class teachers, the children explored a variety of crops, identifying everything from sturdy potatoes and radishes to fragrant coriander and papaya trees. By watching the harvesting process firsthand, the students gained a practical understanding of how food travels from the soil to their tables, sparking a natural curiosity about the environment around them.
The educational journey extended beyond the vegetable plots as students were introduced to the village’s domestic animals, including cows and goats. This interaction allowed the children to learn about animal husbandry and the rhythm of rural life in a joyful, sensory-rich environment. This “Learning Beyond the Classroom” initiative successfully combined fresh air with fundamental science, fostering an early love for nature and sharpening the students’ observation skills through real-world experience.
