Honoring The Light: A Heartfelt Celebration Of Gurupurnima

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School vibrantly celebrated Gurupurnima, creating a deeply respectful and joyous atmosphere dedicated to honoring mentors. The auspicious day commenced with a warm and traditional welcome for the teachers, as students reverently applied tika and tilak to their foreheads. Following a sacred puja and aarti, students from class 10 felicitated the faculty members in a culturally rich manner, presenting beetle leaves and areca nuts as tokens of high regard. The faculty members bestowed their heartfelt blessings upon the young learners, setting a tone of mutual reverence and deep gratitude.
As part of the celebrations, an engaging house-wise activity named ‘Wisdom Trees’ was organized for the students. Through this creative initiative, participants expressed their gratitude by writing down and displaying valuable life lessons they learned from their teachers that extended far beyond standard textbooks.
