2nd Parent Teacher Meeting

‘Building Bridges: Strengthening the Parent-Teacher Partnership’
The 2nd Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for the academic session 2024-25 was conducted on Saturday, 16th November 2024, at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School. The meeting was organized in two sessions to accommodate parents across different grades effectively:

1. Session 1 (KG Section):

Timing: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Parents of kindergarten students attended the PTM in the morning session. They engaged in meaningful discussions with the class teachers regarding their child’s academic progress, behavioural development, and overall well-being. Teachers shared feedback on the children’s learning milestones, creative skills, and areas needing improvement. Parents appreciated the insights provided and actively participated in the discussions.

2. Session 2 (Classes 1 to 9):

Timing: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

For students from classes 1 to 9, the meeting focused on reviewing academic performance, co-curricular participation, and attendance records. Teachers elaborated on students’ strengths and provided actionable suggestions for further development. The PTM also served as a platform for addressing parental concerns and queries.

Parent-Teacher Interaction

The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with most parents attending the meeting. This high participation highlighted the parents’ commitment to their children’s education. Parents were also privileged to meet subject teachers during regular after-school hours, from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM (Monday to Friday), ensuring continuous communication and support.

Outcome

The PTM was a productive and enriching experience for both parents and teachers. It fostered a collaborative environment, strengthening the home-school partnership crucial for the holistic development of students. The constructive feedback provided by the teachers and the mutual understanding established between parents and staff made the event a successful and memorable one.
