A Journey to Moksha and Divine Wisdom The Brahmavidya Week was observed with great enthusiasm and devotion at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School from 27th January to 1st February 2025. The week was dedicated to instilling spirituality, morality, and the essence of true knowledge in students through inspiring sessions, skits, and project presentations. Each day carried a unique theme, focusing on moksha (liberation) and the divine teachings of Swaminarayan philosophy.
Day 1: Monday, 27th January 2025
The week commenced with an enlightening session on ‘Charitra – A Glimpse of God Earns You Moksha’ by Babajee Pradhan. His discourse emphasized how righteous conduct and devotion lead one toward liberation.
Following this, the Project Announcement and Skit Announcement were made, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful week. Students were enthusiastic about participating in the upcoming activities.
Day 2: Tuesday, 28th January 2025
The second day featured another spiritually enriching session by Babajee Pradhan Sir on ‘Swaminarayan Mahamantra Removes Poison.’ He elaborated on the purifying power of the Swaminarayan mantra, explaining how it cleanses one’s mind, body, and soul, removing negativity and guiding one toward a righteous path.
Day 3: Wednesday, 29th January 2025
A thought-provoking skit titled ‘Moksha Within 7 Days – King Parikshit’ was performed by the Class VIII Boys. The play depicted the story of King Parikshit, who, upon learning that he had only seven days to live, sought the guidance of sage Shukadeva and attained moksha through listening to the Shrimad Bhagavatam. The skit left a deep impression on students, reinforcing the importance of spiritual wisdom and devotion.
Day 4: Thursday, 30th January 2025
A highly interactive session on ‘Moksha: What? Why? How?’ was conducted. The discussion focused on the meaning of moksha, why it is the ultimate goal of human life, and the paths to attain it. The students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity, actively engaging with thought-provoking questions and insights.
Day 5: Friday, 31st January 2025 (Mega Event)
The Mega Event of the week showcased Project Presentations by Class 7 students, house-wise. Each house presented their understanding of Brahmavidya, moksha, and the Swaminarayan philosophy through creative and well-researched projects. The presentations were filled with deep spiritual insights and practical applications of the teachings in daily life.
Day 6: Saturday, 1st February 2025
The grand conclusion of Brahmavidya Week was marked by the Result Announcement and Certificate Distribution Ceremony. The best skit performers, project presenters, and active participants were awarded certificates of appreciation.
The entire week served as a beacon of spirituality and morality, helping students cultivate a sense of righteousness, devotion, and the ultimate pursuit of liberation. It was a truly enlightening experience for all, leaving a lasting impact on the young minds.
