Artistic Offerings To Lord Ganesh

On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School (SSGIS) celebrated the divine festival with devotion, enthusiasm, and creativity on Monday, 25/08/2025.

The morning assembly began with a soulful Ganesh Vandana by the Music Teacher, Mr. Yashwant Vishwakarma, filling the atmosphere with spirituality. This was followed by an inspiring speech by Mr. Babaji Pradhan, who highlighted the significance of the day and concluded with the sacred mantra – “Om Gam Ganeshaya Vighna Vinasaya Namaha.” Soon after, the audience witnessed a mesmerizing performance on Ganesh Vandana by Kashvi Shivhare of Class 2, which won everyone’s hearts.

The celebration continued with vibrant and creative Art & Craft Activities, thoughtfully planned class-wise to ensure active participation from every student:

✨ Classes 1 to 3 – Idol Making of Ganesh
The little hands moulded eco-friendly natural clay into beautiful idols of Lord Ganesha. This activity not only enhanced their fine motor skills but also instilled the value of protecting nature by avoiding harmful materials like plaster of Paris.

✨ Classes 4 & 5 – Grain Art of Ganesh
Students showcased their artistic talent by creating unique designs of Lord Ganesha using various grains. The artwork reflected patience, precision, and devotion, symbolizing prosperity and abundance.

✨ Classes 6 & 7 – Leaf Art of Ganesh
With creativity at its peak, students used different types of leaves to design striking images of Lord Ganesha. The activity emphasized the beauty of nature and the importance of eco-conscious celebrations.

✨ Classes 8 & 9 – Ganesh Painting
The senior students expressed their devotion through colors and brushes, creating vibrant paintings of Lord Ganesha. Their imaginative artworks beautifully blended tradition with creativity, leaving everyone amazed.

The entire celebration was a wonderful blend of devotion, cultural essence, creativity, and eco-consciousness, making Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 a truly memorable occasion for every Gurukulite. 🌿🎨
