Published On: February 5, 2026 , Updated on : February 12, 2026

The farewell ceremony for the Class 10 batch of 2025-26, held on February 5th, was a masterful blend of tradition and emotion. The day began on a divine note with Saraswati Puja, where the rhythmic chanting of mantras by the Panditji filled the air with sanctity. As students and faculty joined in worship, the atmosphere was charged with peace, seeking the blessings of the Goddess of Knowledge for the graduates’ journey ahead. The transition to the celebratory phase was seamless as Class 9 students welcomed their seniors with unique persona-based name tags. This creative introduction turned into a delightful guessing game for both teachers and students, followed by a spectacular fusion dance performance that left the audience rejoiced and mesmerized.
The energy continued to build as Class 9 presented a humorous theatrical tribute, recreating the daily atmosphere of a Class 10 classroom with playful impressions of their teachers. Immediately following this “Skit,” the juniors introduced an amazing Fun Zone that took nostalgia to a new level. Each Class 10 student was given their current photograph and tasked with pinning it next to their childhood photograph displayed on a board. The hall was filled with laughter and puzzled faces as students struggled to recognize the “miniature versions” of their classmates. This “Then and Now” challenge served as a beautiful visual timeline, highlighting the incredible transformation of the students during their years at the school.
Following the fun and games, the Principal of SSGIS, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik, the true torchbearer of the institution, addressed the gathering. He enlivened the students with a profound and meaningful story, offering them a moral compass for the world beyond school walls. However, the mood soon shifted to deep reflection as Class 10 students took the stage to share their ever-loving memories. Their heart-touching words created a “soggy” atmosphere, and the space was filled with wet eyes as the reality of “bid adieu” finally set in. It was a powerful moment of realization, where the bond between the students and their mentors was tangibly felt through the tears and the silence.
The program concluded with the teachers showering their heartfelt blessings upon the departing batch, transitioning from the pain of parting to the warmth of a final embrace. To sweeten the farewell, Class 9 organized a visual treat of memories alongside a wonderful grand feast for the seniors and faculty. Though the moment of departure was unavoidable and painful, it was transformed into a cherished memory to be kept in the heart forever. From the divine start to the emotional end, the Samavartan Samaroh of 2026 stood as a testament to the love, growth, and legacy of the Class 10 students.
